Dr. Ryan P. Fritsch originates from Wisconsin where he received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry and enjoys primary care and low vision optometry. Dr. Fritsch is a member of the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and The American Optometric Association. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his kids.

Dr. Ryan especially enjoys teaching each patient something about their eyes and vision when they come in, and taking time to make sure all questions are answered.  He works with children on vision therapy, and also does some low vision work with those who have decreased vision due to ocular disease.  He has a special interest in specialty contact lenses and myopia management- the process of trying to reduce nearsightedness by intervening early in childhood.
